“ARTICLE”.

An old adage says: Peace is a journey of a thousand miles and it must be taken one step at a time.. Well, in my case, an internship of about eight weeks stint just started with this single article”. In this article, I am going to introduce myself and also share with you; my goals and what I want to achieve by the end of the eight weeks of this program.

INTRODUCTION

My name is Hamza Durez, I am from Chakwal District, Punjab, Pakistan. I am a student of Computer Science, I’m, interested in python backend development more than frontend. I want to enhance my skills and gain experience and implement my knowledge in a more practical way and pursue my career with full enthusiasm.

Most Importantly, I enrolled in this Internship and I am more energized to finish it and be one of its graduates by the time it winds up.

MY GOALS

Of course, I am not joining an internship known for its intense demand for smartness, hard work, and coordination without having any goals and objectives pre-set for the whole process.

First of all, I plan to improve my overall spirit of cooperation while working with teammates by finishing my portion of the task as quickly as possible, constant and effective communication with my colleagues, and never leaving a task undone. Thereby, increasing my ability to work with people seamlessly and effectively.

Moreover, I intend to learn and practice more during the program, because I want to be at the top of my game and always finish both my team and individual tasks before deadlines.

Furthermore, I want to learn more ways to develop applications that can solve real-life problems as opposed to irrelevant ones.

In addition, I want to try as much as possible to keep my slate clean by breaking no rules throughout the whole period of the internship.

Finally, and most importantly, my utmost goal is to meet new people with a similar mindset to mine, who are hardworking, smart, and intelligent. People I can connect with during and after the internship to learn and build amazing problem-solving applications with, including companies and so on.

WHAT I WANT TO ACHIEVE

At the end of this internship, I plan to:

  1. Become a reliable team member, to be able to work with anyone, anywhere in the world without any qualms.
  2. Get better and more proficient at my stack (backend development) using a variety of web technologies, including; Javascript, NodeJs, ReactJS, MongoDB, etc.
  3. Overcome “imposter syndrome” and boost my confidence to become a better version of myself in terms of what I do and how I do it.
  4. Make it to the final stage and become one of the graduates of the prestigious internship sponsored by i4G and HNG.
  5. Building as many applications as possible to include in my portfolio to increase my level of employability as a developer.

MY STACK

I enrolled in this internship for Backend — NodeJS, in other words, server-side web development. This means that I will be writing code that defines the logical aspect of a web application, which includes; problem-solving and persistence, users authorization and authentication, data analytics and dynamic flow, etc.
